Customer Service

What are common issues with 3D models, and how can I prepare my file for successful printing? The most common issues include non-manifold geometry, thin walls, and unsupported overhangs. To ensure print success, make sure your model is watertight (no holes), has proper wall thickness for your material, and is oriented for minimal support. We’ll help review and advise on your file if needed before printing.

Which software should I use to design for 3D printing? Popular design software includes Fusion 360, Tinkercad, Blender, Rhino, SolidWorks, and SketchUp. For slicing and preparing files, Cura, PrusaSlicer, and Lychee Slicer (for resin) are widely used. Choose based on your experience level and the type of project you’re working on.

What file formats are supported for 3D printing? We accept STL, OBJ, and STEP files, which are the most common formats for 3D printing. If you’re using another format, feel free to contact us — we may be able to convert it for you.

Is there a maximum file size for uploads? We recommend keeping your file under 50MB for smoother processing. However, we can accommodate larger files — just let us know, and we’ll provide an alternate upload method if needed.

What colour options are available for 3D printing? Colour availability depends on the material. For FDM prints, we offer a range of filament colours including black, white, grey, red, blue, and more. Resin prints are typically in grey or clear but can be painted or dyed afterward. We also offer spray painting, electroplating and custom finishing for full-colour results.

Do you provide 3D modeling or design consultation services? Yes, we offer design assistance and consultation services. Whether you have a rough sketch, a reference photo, or just an idea, our team can help turn it into a printable 3D model. We’ll guide you through the process to make sure your design is functional and printable.

Do you offer post-processing to enhance the final look of prints? Absolutely. We offer a range of post-processing options including sanding & polishing, spray painting, electroplating, dyeing (for resin/SLS) and custom branding or texturing. These finishing services give your prints a professional, production-quality appearance.
